Mentorship for Every Stage of Your Journey
You don’t have to have everything figured out before asking for help. Whether you’re building a business, growing your career, navigating a new challenge, or simply wondering what comes next, mentorship gives you access to people who can share what they’ve learned along the way.
At Project Potluck, mentorship isn’t about finding one person who has all the answers. It’s about expanding your network and connecting with people you can turn to for perspective, advice, connections, and support as your needs evolve.
Our Mentor Directory gives you access to professionals across the CPG industry with a wide range of experiences and expertise. Browse the directory, find someone whose experience aligns with what you’re navigating, and tell us what you’d like their help with. We’ll help make the introduction.
It might be one helpful conversation, a few check-ins, or the beginning of a relationship that lasts for years.
For Mentors
Share What You've Learned
You don’t need to be an expert or have all the answers to be a great mentor. If you have experience, perspective, connections, or lessons learned along the way, there’s someone in our community who could benefit from what you know.
Project Potluck mentorship is designed to be flexible. You tell us where you can help and how much capacity you have. When a mentee would like to connect, we’ll reach out first to make sure the opportunity and timing feel right.
Some mentors answer a specific question or have a single conversation. Others check in periodically or build relationships that continue for years. There’s no one way to mentor here.
And we’ll support you along the way with training, orientations, office hours, and resources designed to help you feel prepared and make the experience meaningful for both you and your mentee.

Great mentorship takes practice. That’s why we’ve built support for both mentors and mentees into the program.
Learn at your own pace.
Our online mentor and mentee learning experiences are built directly into the program, so you can access practical guidance when you need it—from preparing for conversations and setting expectations to communication, boundaries, and building a strong relationship.

We've Got Answers
Mentees browse the Mentor Directory and request to connect based on what they’re looking for. Project Potluck reaches out to the mentor first to confirm interest and availability before making an introduction.
It happens! Mentor availability changes, and not every request will result in a connection. We’ll help identify another mentor who may be a good fit.
There’s no set length or time commitment. A mentorship might be one conversation, a few check-ins, or a relationship that continues for years. Mentors set their own capacity, and we’ll always check before making an introduction.
You don’t need a certain title or number of years under your belt. If you’ve learned things along the way that could help someone else navigate their career or business, you’re ready to mentor.
Mentors and mentees have access to self-paced learning, live Mentorship Orientations, Office Hours, and ongoing support from the Project Potluck team.
